From download to first trade

Before you start

• MetaTrader 5 installed, with an account at a broker that offers a Gold symbol (XAUUSD) or a Bitcoin symbol (BTCUSD).
• Your License Key. It arrives by email after payment, in a message titled [MSK] New Key. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it.
• Algorithmic trading switched on in your terminal (the Algo Trading button in the top toolbar).

You do not need a PIN to start. It appears on your chart the first time the license activates.

1. Download your bot

Download the file for the bot you bought. A Gold key works only with MeridianSuperGold, and a Bitcoin key works only with MeridianSuperBTC.

Files end in .ex5 and only trade with a valid License Key. Please download only from this page.

2. Install the bot

1. In MetaTrader 5 choose File, then Open Data Folder.
2. Open the MQL5 folder, then the Experts folder.
3. Copy the .ex5 file you downloaded into that folder.
4. Back in MetaTrader 5, right click Expert Advisors in the Navigator panel and choose Refresh, or restart the terminal. Your bot now appears in the list.

3. Allow the license check

Once every 30 minutes the bot briefly checks your license with our license server. MetaTrader needs your permission for this. You only do it once per computer or VPS.

1. Choose Tools, then Options, then the Expert Advisors tab.
2. Tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
3. Click Add new URL and enter https://script.google.com
4. Click OK.

This only lets the bot talk to the license server. Nothing else is opened.

4. Attach the bot to a chart

Drag the bot from the Navigator onto the right chart. When the settings window opens, go to the Inputs tab and fill in:

On the Common tab, make sure Allow Algo Trading is ticked, then click OK. A smiley face in the top right corner of the chart means the bot is running.

Which chart and timeframe

• MeridianSuperGold: open two Gold charts, one on M2 and one on M3, and attach the bot to both with the same settings. Keep both running together.
• MeridianSuperBTC: open one Bitcoin chart on M5 and attach the bot to it.

If the symbol on the chart is the wrong one, for example a currency pair, the bot shows an INIT FAILED message and does not trade. Open a chart of the correct symbol and attach it there.

5. Save your PIN

Within a minute or two of a successful activation, the top left corner of your chart shows something like this:

License: OK
EXP: 30 Days
New PIN (For Next Account Change): 482913

If you do not see the PIN line after a few minutes, check step 3 and your internet connection, then remove the bot from the chart and attach it again to trigger a fresh check.

Renew your license

Open the Renew page, enter your License Key twice, choose how long to extend and click Check License Key. The page shows your new expiry date before you pay. Then pay with PayPal, card or crypto. The new days are added to your current expiry date, so you never lose time you have already paid for.

• You can also update the contact email address for your license on the Renew page. It is optional.
• You do not need to touch MetaTrader. The bot picks up the new expiry at its next check, within about 30 minutes.
• Renew before your license expires. A license that has already expired cannot be renewed, and you would buy a new one.
• We email you once, three days before your license expires.

Change to a different account

A license runs on one MT5 account at a time. It attaches to the first account that activates it, including a demo account. To move it to a new broker account, a new computer or a live account, use the PIN you saved:

1. Optional but recommended: remove the bot from the old chart.
2. Attach the bot to a chart on the new account.
3. In Inputs, enter the same License Key and also your PIN Code.
4. Click OK. When the dashboard shows License: OK, the license has moved and the old account stops trading at its next check.
5. A brand new PIN appears on the chart. Save it. The old PIN no longer works.

The PIN is only used when you type it in by hand and click OK. Restarting your terminal with an old PIN still saved in the settings will not move the license by accident.

What the status messages mean

Troubleshooting

The dashboard stays on "checking..." or no PIN appears

• Confirm the WebRequest address in step 3 is exactly https://script.google.com, with nothing added at the end.
• Check that the computer or VPS has internet access and that MetaTrader shows a live connection.
• Remove the bot from the chart and attach it again.

"STOPPED (invalid)"

• Copy the key straight from your email. Watch for spaces at the start or end.
• Make sure the bot matches the key: a Gold key only works with MeridianSuperGold and a Bitcoin key only with MeridianSuperBTC.

"STOPPED (offline >48h)"

• Restore the internet connection and the WebRequest setting. The bot resumes at the next successful check.
• Trades that were already open stay protected by their stop loss and take profit at your broker.

The bot is attached but nothing is trading

• Check that Algo Trading is switched on in the toolbar and that the smiley face shows on the chart.
• Check that the market is open and that your account has enough free margin.
• The bot waits for its own conditions. It is normal for it to hold no position for long stretches.

Keep your license safe

• Never post your License Key or PIN in forums, chats or screenshots. Anyone holding both can move your license off your account.
• We will never ask for your PIN. Support only needs your License Key and your order email.
• Your license is personal and is for use on your own accounts. See the terms of service.
